Kevin Dewsbury

Kevin Dewsbury

Kevin Dewsbury

‘Very funny indeed. A poignant tale with lots of really good deadpan humour. He is a little like Eddie Izzard – but he made me laugh much more than Eddie Izzard ever could. Engaging, very slick and professional. Wonderful songs that had me and the audience in stitches. A very likeable comedian’ – The Edinburgh Enlightenment

A critically acclaimed veteran of the Edinburgh Festival and a support act for Tim Vine on national theatre tours, Kevin has a wide comic repertoire that veers effortlessly between meandering tales, killer one-liners and hilarious accents. Currently on TV screens in the Stan James adverts, he is a master of understated deadpan humour delivered with charisma and instant charm.

Kate Lucas
‘Kate combines deft lyrics with a lovely sense of progression. It makes her a formidable force’ – Chortle.co.uk

Winner of the coveted Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year competition this year, Kate is a unique act who combines a warm, self-deprecating persona with a dark dry wit that that permeates her songs. She combines catchy, original melodies with sophisticated lyrics and a fresh delivery style to present her playfully bitter musings on life. A runner up in both Funny’s Funny and the London New Comedy Awards, Kate won the Lastminutecomedy Club’s New Comedian of the Year and has opened for acts such as Ed Byrne, Jo Brand, Omid Djalili and Harry Hill.

Harriet Kemsley
‘A quirky, very funny new stand up. Her style is refreshingly original and she’s a seriously good writer with a ton of smart, pithy jokes’ – Time Out

Star of BBC3′s ‘Comedy Marathon’ and Radio 1′s ‘Comedy Lounge’, Harriet is a multiple award winner including Funny’s Funny, Brighton New Act of the Year and Up The Creek One To Watch. A hilarious combination of the bashful and weird, her ditzy onstage persona enables her to give her sharp gags, often on dark subjects, an innocent edge.

Alex Kealy
‘Hugely funny…when the audience isn’t laughing they’re hanging on his every word’ – Broadway Baby

A young, awkward, gangly comedian with a twisted sense of the absurd, Alex is a former So You Think You’re Funny finalist at Edinburgh Festival as well as Reading New Comedian of the Year. He has also appeared on Radio Four Extra’s ‘Fred MacAulay & Co’.

Compere – Anthony J Brown
‘Hilarious ad-libs and wicked one-liners from an infectiously funny performer’ – The List

Clad in a sartorially edifying manner, like a dapper and dandy funeral director, Anthony cuts a unique on-stage presence with humour blacker than a raven that’s slammed it’s claw in a coffin lid. And not the merest hint of profanity. The overall effect is both perversely hypnotic and wholly original, leaving the audience zealously hanging on to every syllable like turncoat lemmings on a rockface. Jongleurs/Metro ‘Stand & Deliver’ Award winner and BBC New Comedy Award Runner-up he is a regular contributor to Radio 2′s ‘The Arthur Smith Lectures’.
