Shazia Mirza

Shazia Mirza

‘Calm, confident, challenging and always with original material’ – The Evening Standard

‘In that global menagerie of comedy Mirza is that rarest of rare creatures. She guarantees an audience with her biting deadpan observations’ – The New York Times

Shazia is an award winning British Asian stand up Comedian and columnist from Birmingham sticking the figurative knife into political correctness with devastatingly funny effect. She performs all over the world and has toured the US, Sweden, India, Denmark, France, Holland and Germany. Her vast array of international TV credits include BBC’s ‘Have I Got News For You’. ‘Grumpy Guides’ and ‘This Week’, Channel 5′s ‘The Wright Stuff’, CBS’s ‘60 Minutes’, NBC’s ‘Last Comic Standing’ and Paramount’s ‘The World Stands Up’.

Danny McLoughlin
‘McLoughlin’s main weapon is his audacity: he’s so bold he can recite an advertising jingle and still get plenty of laughs’ – Chortle

As seen on Dave’s ‘One Night Stand’. A former finalist in the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year, Danny supported Micky Flanagan on his national ‘Going Out Out’ tour and Sean Lock on his ‘Lockipaedia’ tour. He also took his debut hour long show ‘The Truth, The Half Truth and Nothing Like The Truth’ to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August last year to great critical acclaim. With an amiable, confident stage presence and taughtly written set Danny delivers material with more than just an immediate pay-off line, preferring to take the joke one or two steps further. Confident enough to take a risk on stage he does so not to the detriment of the audience, keeping them hanging on every word.

Richard Jow

‘A worldly wise and undeniable logic runs through his set, provoking many an applause break’ – bbc.co.uk

Mr Ben’s Gong Show Winner.

Compere – Anthony J Brown

‘Hilarious ad-libs and wicked one-liners from an infectiously funny performer’ – The List

Clad in a sartorially edifying manner, like a dapper and dandy funeral director, Anthony cuts a unique on-stage presence with humour blacker than a raven that’s slammed it’s claw in a coffin lid. And not the merest hint of profanity. The overall effect is both perversely hypnotic and wholly original, leaving the audience zealously hanging on to every syllable like turncoat lemmings on a rockface. Jongleurs/Metro “Stand & Deliver” Award winner and former BBC New Comedy Award Runner-up he is a regular contributor to Radio 2′s “The Arthur Smith Lectures”.
