Justin Moorhouse
‘Brimming with confidence, Moorhouse exudes a likeable energy that could raise the dead …His affable character has a certain old-fashioned charm, as his is the sort of personality which you instinctively trust to make you laugh – and he doesn’t disappoint…Moorhouse entertainingly recounts his tales and well-made observations… impressive indeed’ – Chortle

Described by Jimmy Carr as ‘easily my favourite comedian’, Justin has a stack of TV credits including playing Young Kenny with the tiger striped face on ‘Phoenix Nights’, ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’, ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, ‘Dave’s One Night Stand’, ‘The Grumpy Guides’, ‘Shameless’ and ‘The World Stands Up’ amongst others as well as a role in the Ken Loach film ‘Looking For Eric’. His own Radio 4 show ‘Everyone Quite Likes Justin’ is critically acclaimed and into a second series and he is a Sony Award nominated radio presenter in his own right and a staple of Radio 5 Live’s ‘Fighting Talk’ and ’7 Day Sunday’. Plus he’s an Edinburgh Festival favourite with a slew of solo UK theatre tours under his belt. So quite the multi media sensation. He’ll be performing a preview of his forthcoming Edinburgh Festival show ‘This is what I am’.

Kiri Pritchard-McLean
‘She balances affection with an acute eye for the ridiculous to bring you a stand up set of well delivered, increasingly funny anecdotes..definitely one to watch’ – Three Weeks
‘Kiri was by far the funniest & quick witted, one to look out for in the future’ – Leicester Mercury
‘The only female act of the night Kiri Pritchard McLean was the unsung hero. She was excellent and not averse to some self-deprecating humour and provided plenty of laughs about the possibility of becoming a parent’ – Stourbridge News

With a charming stage manner coupled with a deft, quick wit it’s easy to see why Nottingham Comedy Festival named Kiri their Breakout Act of the Year. The biggest lesson this smart, instantly likeable girl-next-door type from Anglesey will give you is in observational comedy. Her inventive wordplay contributes to a stand up set of well delivered, increasingly funny anecdotes drawn from her daily life which would be difficult not to relate to.
