Ian D Montfort

“Ian D Montfort, is a spookily skillful, wonderfully observed and hysterically funny character who contacts dead celebrities with incredible results. A monster hit at the Edinburgh Fringe” ***** Time Out London
“The style of the act is genius – if it works, it’s impressive, if it doesn’t work, well it’s all part of the joke” **** Chortle
“The character remains hilarious even as the tricks become remarkable. It is two shows for the price of one: pin-sharp character comedy and metaphysical magic to boot” **** Guardian

Comic spirit medium Ian D Montfort will be previewing material from his forthcoming Edinburgh Festival show “Tom Binns Has Not Been Himself”. He is a psychic medium loved by believers and sceptics alike. Whether you think he’s a spoof or real you’ll be in no doubt that the demonstrations of Ian’s gifts are rib-tickling and mind-blowing. Described as ‘intelligent, magical, fantastically original and funny enough to kill you from asphyxiation’ by Magic Circle Magazine he is a New Zealand Comedy Festival award winner and his own 4 part Radio 2 series was broadcast in February 2013.

Lost Voice Guy
‘Finding humour in strange places is one of Lost Voice Guy’s strengths…fabulous’ – The Guardian

‘A very easy show to enjoy – funny, personal, occasionally shocking, and frequently mischievous. 4 stars’ – The Independent

Lee Ridley aka Lost Voice Guy can’t talk but isn’t silent. Described as ‘a wonderful comedian’ by Little Britain’s Matt Lucas, he is the first stand up comedian in the world to use a communication aid. Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy as a child, he embraces his disability, breaking down barriers and having a laugh along the way. He addresses aspects of his disability, from his diagnosis, mischievous bid for X-Factor stardom, and how David Cameron has spent the last three years systematically screwing over those with disabilities. His message is profoundly positive: if someone with no voice can become a successful stand-up, then anyone can achieve anything if they put their mind to it. LVG is fresh and unique and is proving to be hilarious and thought provoking with more one liners than a factory of jokes. He has appeared on CNN and BBC Breakfast and was nominated for best new show at this year’s Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival. He will be performing material from his critically acclaimed Edinburgh Festival debut show ‘Voice Of Choice’.
